The Fortunate Sailor
Run by Fox, The Fortunate Sailor was formerly the largest tavern and inn in Trier. Unforunately, it became a brothel, gambling parlor, and lucid den. The bottom floor and main hall are still used for serving food but at least half of the tables had been converted for gambling and there were always half a dozen prostitutes plying their trade; without exception, they were addicts or debtors who Elst had forced into the profession.
The second floor contains all of the rooms for travelers. Each room contains a bed, a large chest with a lock on it and a small writing desk with a lamp on it. Each room also has a single shuttered window than can be locked. The third floor was mostly a lucid den and rooms to be used by the prostitutes. The gambling, lucid dealing and prostitution were all staffed by employees of Fauron Elst. The actual running of the tavern is solely Fox’s responsibility.
With Fauron’s death, the inn is currently being used to house the remaining villagers of Trier as they weather the siege from the Court of the Autumn Harvest.
